So I ran by Target, expecting the deal on Glade candles to be gone and was pleasantly suprised! They had 4 Glade candle holders left and quite a few of the refills. Here is what I did:
4 Glade Holiday Candle Holders (2.50 each)
Total for 4 was 10.00, but don't foregt coupons!!!
Used 2 BOGO coupons and 2 -2.00 coupons for a total of a dollar plus tax of which I paid for on a giftcard. Then I got a $5 GC.
Second I did 4 Refills at 2.50 ea, again $10 total. Used 2 -1.50/2 coupons and spent $7 plus tax and got a $5 GC. I used a GC to pay for this purchase as well. So, basically I spent a little less than $9 on a GC and recieved $10 in GCs. Not too bad at all!!
Also, because Kroger is right by our Target I ran in there and got a pumpkin for 99 cents!!!
Then went into the Wags and got 3 Fresh Max starter kits (3.99 ea with my rain check) and used 3 -3.00 coupons and a 4RR ( I also got the kids a couple of pumkin flashing rings 3x.49 ea so I could use the RR) and spent about 50 cents oop.
So this week had been pretty good with only spending 1.55 at CVS (go here to see my 3 transactions), no OOP at Target, and 50 cents at Wags. Granted I did stop by Sprouts and got some bulk nuts and things and some meat for a shopping trip of $20 and went to Kroger and spent about 5 total this week. So all in all it really turned out well. Can't wait to see what next week holds.
Also, the dry ice experiments were so much fun! I hopefully will get pictures up tomorrow!

Just recieved! A coupon for $5 off a $30 purchase just magically appeared in my inbox! I am so excited. I have 12ECBs to go with it so I am off to my coupons and paper to see what kind of deals I can find. Will check the ads for Nov ECB deals as well- It might be to an advantage to wait until Sat. Feeling very blessed today, I just recieved via snail mail a stack of personalized coupons from Kroger, including: a free 12pk Dr Pepper, free Honey Nut Cheerios, free Keebler Cookies, free Nature Valley Granola Bars, then coupons for Iams, GM Cereal,frozen veggies, Keebler, granola bars, hot dog buns, rice, red bull, toaster treats, peanut butter, dannon yogurt, hungry jack potatoes. Wow- this has ben the best mailing yet. I also recieved my Milk Matters coloring book from the Dept of Health, an invite to our Sunday School Social, a $10 off any $10 or more purchase at JCP and NO BILLS!!!! Yay!
Still awaiting the package from Omaha Steaks- UPS usually comes this way in the afternoons. I am hoping intime for snack!!! Then we are having burgers for dinner tonight.

DRY ICE!!!
Ok, for those of you who got in on the Omaha Steak deal (I got the $25 free GC but no additional 12 burgers) this is a great oppurtunity for dry ice experiments. My oldest (10) is so looking forward to UPS getting here. I am not sure how much dry ice they use but we are going to make some carbonated apple juice for snack this afternoon and try a few of the bubbly experiments as well. I would love to fill the room with fog but I am not sure how much dry ice we will get so we will have to see- also the fog thing can be dangerous so please read all instructions and precautions when dealing with dry ice!!!! It is -109.3 degrees Farenheit! (I still learn something new everyday!)

Walmart
What a deal! The Gillette Fusion Gift packs are $5. They include a gillette fusion razor, body wash, shave cream and deoderant. Combined with the $4 coupon it makes for an amazing deal. I got one for every man I know to go with their Christmas gift.
Also use your $1 Kotex coupons to get free Kotex lightdays.
I did these deals this past weekend and got a few things that the kids wanted to eat this week bc I had saved so much money!

It is so worth it. A few weeks ago I got a packet of mints (the kind like altoids etc) with some cute invitations (5 I think) that I could fill out to throw a girls night, then last week I got 5 booklets about Starkist Tuna packets with BOGO coupons in them, and today I got a Venus Embrace Razor in the mail. I just told my husband that I needed a new Venus razor and I was so excited to get this one. Along with it came 5 coupons for $4 off Venus Embrace. It asked me to use the product then rate it online and pass out the coupons to friends. I am hoping to find a good deal on the razors and just buy them for my friends instead of just hand them the coupons. I can't wait to see what is in the mail next- I love seeing the box or envelope with Vocal Point on it- such a fun suprise!
